I found this on another journal I kind of had... It's from July 15th...
So I'm at work right now, as a receptionist. One of my main duties is to answer the phones (as most receptionists would do). Well there's a slight problem with that right now seeing as how the phone lines are down. I mean they're working to reboot everything but still, no calls. And seeing as how I already finished my other work this morning...I litterally have nothing to do...on the plus side this IS the quietest I have ever heard this office before 5pm!

Phone calls are either very good or very, very bad!
Hi, I'm a receptionist at a t-shirt printing and embroidery place. Pretty boring right? You would think but I meet some pretty interesting people and have interesting things happen to me here. (As you would at any job).
I had been debating starting this blog for a while. I had a few good stories from my job. But would I have enough to post them. Some of them are too good to keep to myself. It wasn't until today at about noon that I decided it was time to start this blog. This phone call that came in was just too good NOT to share! Everyone can learn from this gentleman! This is THE BEST phone call of all time! I can't set it up better than just writting out the conversation for you!
Me: Good morning, Buisness place's name.
Him: Good morning this is so-and-so calling from such-and such how are you today?
Me: I’m alright how are you?
Him: I’m fantastic. Actually..I’m lying. I am so hung over right now.
Me: Oh no!
Him: but that’s ok I’ll get through this.
Me: Yes you can! I believe in you!
Him: Thanks my mother never did but that’s a story for another time!
Me: ha ha ha ha!
Him: I’m looking for the finance department and I’m really hoping it’s you ‘cause you’re really fun!
Me: I’m sorry it’s not me! But I wish it were because this has been amazing!
Him: oh man. Well can you transfer me to someone who’s fun? Is there anyone in that department whose fun?
Me: You know what? I don’t think there is.
Him: They never are!
Me: Would you like accounts receivable or accounts payable?
Him: I guess I’ll go with payable.
Me: Alright well good luck with the rest of your day!
Him: Thanks, you too!
Simply wonderful. I need to find his place of work and work with him!!!
